MMA Live (7/30/09): Rashad Evans Guests Hosts, Gives Viewers Memorable Moments
By Pramit Mohapatra This week’s episode of MMA Live looks back at the fallout from Affliction’s demise by examining where and when some of the promotion’s fighters will fight next. In addition, the crew (with Jon Anik back this week, Rashad Evans in place of Kenny Florian, and Franklin McNeil) discusses Tito Ortiz’s return to the UFC (not confirmed at the time of the taping.) But, beyond a doubt, the highlight of the show occurs about 15 minutes in when in rapid succession former UFC light heavyweight champ Evans does an impression of Mike Tyson, whom he met recently; an impression of his own mom; and then receives a call on the show from his mom.
