Vitali vs. Wladimir: ‘Never Say Never’
by Lem Satterfield Filed under: WBA , WBC , IBF , WBO , FanHouse Exclusive The chaotic scene outside of Veltins Arena resembles that of a big, rock festival. Inside the jam-packed, 61,462-seat capacity stadium in Gelsenkirchen, Nordrhein-Westfalen — one of the largest sports complexes in Germany — the wait is over. The larger-than-life, world champion Klitschko brothers emerge from separate sides of the ring and climb through the ropes to finally determine who is the king of the ring. If only it weren’t fantasy. Vitali vs. Wladimir: ‘Never Say Never’ originally appeared on Fanhouse Boxing Blog on Wed, 30 Sep 2009 14:00:00 EST

Raiders Ban Rich Gannon From TV Production Meetings
by Chris Burke Filed under: Raiders , NFL Media Watch Rich Gannon was the MVP of the 2002 NFL season, leading Oakland to an AFC championship and Super Bowl berth. That’s where things began to unravel between Gannon and the Raiders , though. Gannon threw five interceptions in a Super Bowl XXXVII loss to Tampa Bay, then suffered serious injuries in 2003 and 2004. And now the Raiders don’t even want him in the same building — according to the San Francisco Chronicle , Oakland team officials have banned Gannon from participating in pregame television production meetings with his CBS crew, a direct violation of NFL policy. “Rich Gannon is not welcome here,” Raiders executive John Herrera told the Chronicle . “We told CBS we did not want him in our building, we did not want him to be part of our production meeting, and that’s where it sits.” Raiders Ban Rich Gannon From TV Production Meetings originally appeared on Fanhouse NFL Blog on Fri, 25 Sep 2009 21:40:00 EST . Ballhawkin’: Kiwanuka a Good Spot Play
by R.J. White Filed under: NFL Waiver Wire , IDP Leagues Think IDP leagues are the way to go? Then Ballhawkin ‘ is for you. Here, we pick out a few Individual Defensive Players that could have huge weeks and are possibly sitting in your free-agent pool. Justin Durant had a great IDP game against the Cardinals, putting up nine total tackles and forcing a fumble for 13 points in my league. The rest of our picks for Week 2 were just average, and Tamba Hali was actually far worse than that, with a pass defensed being his only contribution to an IDP statline. Ready to check out some little-owned IDPs that could help you to big Week 3s?
