Stephan Bonnar loses UFC 110 appeal, welcomes rematch with Krzysztof Soszynski
Stephan Bonnar has lost an appeal to change the result of his UFC 110 loss to Krzystztof Soszynski. The Combat Sports Authority of New South Wales ruled this past Tuesday that the official result ruling the fight a TKO win in favor of Soszynski stands. “A review was held … and the Combat Sports Authority of NSW did not seek to interfere with the referee’s decision,” wrote Craig Waller, Executive Director of the Combat Sports Authority of New South Wales, in an email sent to MMAjunkie.com late Tuesday night.
Martin Kampmann vs. Paulo Thiago in the works for UFC 115 in June
A welterweight matchup between Martin Kampmann and Paulo Thiago is currently in the works for UFC 115. The potential bout was first reported by The Las Vegas Sun , and MMAjunkie.com has since confirmed that both fighters have verbally agreed to the fight, and bout agreements are expected to be finalized shortly. While not yet officially announced, UFC 115 is expected to take place June 12 at GM Place in Vancouver, British Columbia. The night’s main card airs on pay-per-view.

Bellator Signs Lightweights Janne Tulirinta and Chad Hinton
Bellator today added two more lightweights to its upcoming 155-pound tournament, announcing the signings of M-1 Challenge veteran Janne Tulirinta and undefeated Cincinnati native Chad Hinton, who join Ferrid Kheder, Mike Ricci and Carey Vanier as announced participants for promotion’s season two tourney. From Bellator: The two fighters — Janne Tulirinta (12-3) and Chad Hinton (6-0) — join Ferrid Kheder, Mike Ricci and Carey Vanier in the nationally televised tournament, which begins April 8th. The last three 155 lbs. fighters will be announced later this month. Bellator will also conduct tournaments at 145, 170 and 185 lbs. during its second season, which will be televised on FOX Sports Net, NBC and Telemundo. Winners of each tournament will earn the rank of No. 1 contender and a chance to face off in a title bout against Bellator’s Season 1 champions. “Janne and Chad come from very different backgrounds but they have one thing in common: They both have the tools to impact our lightweight division,” said Bellator founder and CEO Bjorn Rebney
